Job information

As a Chemical Lab Technician you will be working on the topic of the production of bio-based bulk aromatics. The higher goal is working towards a more suistainable future, regarding the energy sector and chemical industry. You will be working on different innovative projects in which you start small and upgrade to a larger lab set up. Your work varies from small chemical labwork (gram scale) to bigger lab set ups (kilograms/hr) and finally also continous set ups. Your tasks include physical-chemical tests, safety and risk assessments, ordering, preparing solutions, documentation, analysis. You will have your own responsibilty regarding your projects in setting up a plan and consult with scientists. You are comfortable in maintaining, repairing and upgrading laboratory set-ups.      



Job requirements

We are looking for a "experienced Chemical Lab Technician" with the following requirements:

• BSc background in (organic) chemistry, process technology, chemical engineering with affinity for process intensification and/or flow chemistry

• You have at least 5 years industrial working experience in a lab environment or simulate and able to operate process installations (few kg per day)

• You are a team player and proactive 

• Your English is sufficient, both verbal and written
