Since when have you been working at ENTER?

February, 2020

What do you do at ENTER? / What is your job position?

I am a Software Technology Recruiter.

That means I get to recruit the best software professionals for ENTER.

What motivates you to do this job?

We have a great team with enthusiastic, professional and committed colleagues. That motivates enormously!

I also think it is a wonderful field, the field of software technology. Nowadays, technology is key, and it will only become more important in the future. The demand for scarce technical talent will grow and that makes recruiting so much fun. You need to be able to put yourself in the shoes of your potential colleagues and think about what they need to continue to develop. This requires flexibility, creativity and persuasiveness. That makes my job very challenging.

What motivates me is that you can make the difference by delivering reliable quality. Imagine…you live in Turkey and decide to leave behind everything to build a new life in the Netherlands. You will need someone who guides you every step of the way, informs you and gives you the confidence that things will be okay in the end. But you also need someone to help you achieve your goals. That is what we do: we provide accurate information, guide people, provide a sense of security and make good on our promises.

What are you proud of (work-related)?

I am proud to be part of such an amazing team.

Proud to be able to add a lot of (international) technical talent to our team!

I am also proud to explore different ways of getting in touch with scarce talent and to build a solid, valuable network that I can benefit from on a daily basis.

What do you like most about working at ENTER?

I like joining my colleagues in adding the best talent to our organization. To really mean something for each other, to be there for each other – even when things don't go exactly as planned. It is hard work, but we also have fun with each other.

I also like the diversity, with a focus on quality. One day, you'll be talking to someone from South Africa; the next day, you are brainstorming with the team about creative recruitment channels.

When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a singer. I have been singing all my life, I am passionate about it, it brings me a lot of joy.

Some years ago, I joined a small, ambitious vocal group. We work hard to organize beautiful concerts and we have so much fun doing it.
