Since when have you been working at ENTER?
Since November 1st, 2019.
What do you do at ENTER? / What is your job position?
I am an Account Manager in the Mechanical & Mechatronic domain, where I match engineers and projects, represent the interests of both the candidate and customers, and provide help to all parties.
What motivates you to do this job?
My biggest motivation is that I can offer people a career, not just a job. We give professionals the opportunity to truly develop themselves within ENTER, while working on the applications of the future.
What are you proud of (work-related)?
First of all, I am proud of our team and the diversity within this team. With more than 30 nationalities at ENTER, we still maintain that sense of family. In addition, I am proud that we, as a relatively small organization, get to collaborate with the technology leaders such as Bosch, ASML & Philips.
What do you like most about working at ENTER?
The people! On the one hand, the internal colleagues I work with on a daily basis. We use a good dose of humour and fun to handle these difficult times, and smile throughout the day. I also love the diversity the work for ENTER provides: one moment I will accompany a graduate to their first job, the next I will be discussing plans for hiring a highly experienced Project Leader for the department with one of Philips’ Group Leaders. No two days are the same!
When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?
As a boy, I had several dreams. From kneading dough at 4 o’clock in the morning as a future baker, to working as an intelligence officer for the Dutch intelligence service AIVD. Being a craftsman always appealed to me because you really have a profession and can produce a product. I liked the idea of working for the AIVD because you are responsible for the quality of life in the Netherlands and the job focuses on interaction with people and a lot of action. Because I have (had) so many dreams, I think it is all the more fun that nowadays I am at the forefront of guiding others in their choice and that I am able to guide people in an unexpected career switch!
