Job info

As a Software Engineer C#/.NET you are responsible for programming, testing and maintaining high level control software. The, often complex, functionality of the software includes business logic, controls for logistical transport, communication with external computer systems, reporting, data analysis and simulation. This functionality is spread across the various components of the control suites. You are implementing and testing the software based on a design. You are part of an agile team (either Scrum or Kanban) working together to deliver component releases on a regular basis. Together with this team and the product owner you estimate, take in and implement work. With the team you focus on creating the releases and assist and/or take over from each other in order to meet the team’s goals.

Job requirements

We are looking for a Software Engineer C#/.NET with a passion for technology and that is not afraid to analyse complex problems and build innovative solutions. Our expectations:

    • Participating in software and system design for small and medium-sized projects
    • Implementing code from SW Designs, UML diagrams and component requirements
    • Analysing, troubleshooting and fixing internally and externally encountered problems and requested changes
    • Verifying software components and creating unit tests
    • Supporting testing and integration of software components
    • Creating software documentation
    • Being a committed team player in an Agile (Scrum or Kanban) team
    • Providing support within the team
    • Taking part in communities of practice
    • Taking part in refinement and defining user stories
    • Taking part in continuous improvement through sharing of knowledge and improvement points within the team

    You should also have the following qualifications / have a working knowledge of:

    • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
    • C# /.NET (WPF, WCF, MVVM), Visual Studio and NUnit
    • XML/XSD and SQL
    • Container based deployment (Docker and Kubernetes)
    • Requirements Management, Change Management, Version Control and Test management tools
    • Knowledge of Telerik, Galasoft NVVM Light, Qlikview, nuget, Maven and Continuous Integration is an advantage
    • The Agile methodology, including Scrum and Kanban
    • Both oral and written English. Dutch is an advantage.
