Your job as Process Engineer Printing Systems

A printer is technically challenging device. A lot of functions/parts have to work together to be able to reach the required print speeds, image quality and application ranges.

At our customer Océ the print process team is responsible for the final image quality, for making the different functions work together, and for decomposing requirements towards the function.

The print process team is investigating and developing new technologies in close cooperation with the functional teams and other stakeholders.

It’s their task to validate that this new technology is working and does not lead to degradation in the printer performance.

The additional challenge in this situation is that the team is trying to develop a new technology which should work in a technology and printer system which is at Océ’s customers for many years already, no regression is allowed.
