What are you going to do as a Senior Back End Developer?
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Back-End Developer to join our team and play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of our Portal and Billing environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable and secure backend systems, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Within this role you have the following responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of robust and scalable RESTful APIs to support our product's core functionalities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and product managers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Architect and implement efficient database schemas and optimize database performance.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure the security of our applications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to uphold coding standards and best practices.
- Continuously optimize and refactor existing codebase to improve performance and maintainability.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in backend development.
Do you bring:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in C# language, JavaScript/Typescript and GitLab CI/CD or similar CI/CD tools.
- Extensive experience with backend frameworks/libraries (ASP.NET Core, ExpressJs).
- Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL and/or NoSQL).
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Azure and virtualization technologies (Docker / Kubernetes)
- Experience with Unit Testing using available Testing frameworks in .NET environment.
