What will be your job like as Chemical Engineer?

As a Chemical Engineer within UVgel ink development, you will design, understand, and improve ink systems and their interaction with the print process. You translate product and application requirements into reliable engineered materials that meet performance and quality standards. You work in multidisciplinary teams at the core of the printing systems focusing on print process and consumables.

Typical activities:

  • Developing and optimizing UVgel ink formulations (monomers, oligomers, additives, pigment dispersions)
  • Analyze the full chain: chemistry → rheology → jetting behavior → droplet formation → curing → final print qualityInvestigating ink, printhead, and substrate interactions
  • Setting up and executing experiments and data-driven analyses (e.g., DoE)
  • Translating laboratory results into robust product solutions
  • Defining specifications and safeguarding ink quality
  • Contributing to technology development and product introductions
  • Executing experimental research on lab setups and printers
  • Building models to predict ink behavior
  • Ensuring material performance, reliability and quality

What you bring

  • MSc or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science
  • Strong knowledge of polymer chemistry and formulations
  • Experience with rheology, colloids, and dispersions
  • Skilled in experimental research and data analysis
  • Affinity with applied R&D and product development
  • Hands-on mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English
