You will make a difference as Physical Designer. Here’s how
- Deliver a fully verified physical design
- Responsible for the complete physical design (PD) process that meets all technical requirements.
- Execute the standard physical design steps
- Floorplanning
- Placement
- (Top-level) routing
- Verification
- Design finishing: This is done in a Cadence design environment (especially Virtuoso), with the right tools and process knowledge.
- Managing the entire PD process from start to tape-out
- Drawing up planning
- Establishing requirements and specifications
- Providing documentation
- Leading reviews
- Ensuring quality
- Managing other physical designers
- Reporting progress
- Support and lead quality and improvement activities
- Chair improvement meetings
- Maintain and update technology-specific documentation
- Participate in quality and knowledge-sharing meetings
Do you see yourself as…
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or similar
- Minimum 8 years' experience in physical chip design
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso
- Knowledge of high frequency/mmWave design is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible, entrepreneurial and a team player
